Finance and Points

Read Finance data and operational points within the organization, project, and access scope granted to you.

VI

Finance and Points are sensitive areas. They appear only when your project/organization scope and effective permissions allow them. Do not share screenshots, amounts, ownership-history information, or identifying data from these screens beyond the approved work context.

Read project Finance

Open a project → Finance to view data for a date range when authorized. The overview keeps currencies separate and can show contract values, received amounts, refunds, chargebacks, recoveries, net known values, expenses, tax estimates, or operational projections according to the data and access available to you.

  • Use the from/to date filter to inspect the correct reconciliation period.
  • Read coverage warnings before relying on a number. A missing field or incomplete coverage is not automatically zero.
  • Do not add different currencies together, or treat a reference conversion as a guaranteed transaction rate.
  • Finance is operational reference data; it is not automatically an accounting ledger, bank balance, payment confirmation, tax report, or payout commitment.

Users with management access may see record areas such as engagements, receipts, money events, Finance periods, expenses, tax estimates, recurring schedules, or FX references. Change data only from an appropriate reconciled source, provide a reason where the form requires one, and reload the latest record if a version conflict occurs. Archived projects retain authorized historical reading only.

Track project Points

Open a project → Points to view operational points. Access to personal points, team points, and the point budget is separate:

  • A user with personal access can view their own permitted period and lifetime metrics.
  • An Owner/Manager with the applicable capability can view the budget, team insights, breakdowns, and time series by Total, Recipient, or Department.
  • A budget manager can set a manual budget, use a suggestion where available, and inspect history; changes require a reason and are checked against the current version.

Points are an internal contribution/operational measure. They are not money, salary, commission, a wallet, or an amount payable. Do not derive a monetary value from point totals or a point policy.

Organization reports and bounded history

In Organization reports, choose an active organization, the Finance or Points metric, a date range, and a grouping dimension. For Finance, you may see the current-managed project scope; the Source history lens applies only to authorized history and does not replace the current owner's data.

Finance history, Finance history governance, and Point policies appear only to eligible organizations/users:

  • Former-owner Finance history is bounded to an authorized ownership tenure; it is not permission to read the project's current Finance data.
  • A governance user can review or revoke historical grants only with clear organization authority.
  • VND/USD point policies support internal governance and require a reason/version for changes; they are not exchange rates or payroll-conversion tools.

If a Finance/Points area is missing or access is denied, do not try to copy data from another project. Ask an Owner/Manager to review organization scope, project lifecycle, and effective capabilities. See project settings and access governance and access rights.
