Bookings and summaries
Record bookings manually, filter the list, and interpret source, room, and period summaries.
Open your project → Bookings. Reading requires booking access; creating or editing needs a separate manage permission on a non-archived project. Set up rooms, rates, and promotions first if you need those references.
Record or update a manual booking
Select Add booking if you can manage bookings and the platform/reference catalogs have loaded. Enter the reservation data you are authorized to use: platform, external reservation identifier, booking date/time, check-in/check-out, status, and room lines. If reconciled data is available, add stay-night and money components; link only rate plans and promotions matching the platform. Choose an appropriate visibility scope before saving. Never include real guest information in public examples or shared notes.
Select View to inspect details or Edit when source information changes. On a version conflict, review the refreshed record before saving again. If the platform or reference catalog is unavailable, the create/edit form may be disabled even though existing bookings remain readable. Import/Connector source labels in recorded data are not proof that live import or automatic synchronization is available.
Filter and interpret summaries
Select a date basis (booking date or stay date), from/to dates, platform, status, and optionally room/rate-plan/promotion filters when you can read those catalogs; search, sort, then Apply filters. Source, room, and period summaries appear alongside the paginated booking list. These totals describe recorded bookings under the chosen filters and source cutoff, not real-time available inventory. Check the date basis, displayed time zone, and source update cutoff before comparing with external figures.
To inspect availability facts by room type/stay date, use Availability rather than deriving it from booking summaries. A missing fact in Availability does not mean zero rooms; read Track availability before reconciling or adding data.
If Bookings is missing, ask a project manager to review read access. Archived projects show historical data only. If a summary fails while the list still works, retry that summary rather than interpreting the missing data as zero. Next: Availability or Reports, approvals, and sharing.
